Virtual Diploma Ceremony for Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences Management Graduates

Congratulations, UVA Classes of 2024 and 2025! Graduates who are unable to attend Final Exercises in person can participate remotely in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies Diploma Ceremony, held in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom directly after the University-wide Lawn Ceremony on Sunday, May 18. 

By participating remotely, you will be featured on a display screen when your name is called during the diploma ceremony, a digital equivalent of walking across the stage to receive your degree. 

The diploma ceremony will also be livestreamed so anyone can watch.

Please note: students who plan to attend Final Exercises in person can disregard the following instructions.

Instructions for graduates who want to attend the School of Continuing and Professional Studies Diploma Ceremony remotely:

1) Register via the form below. 

2) At 11:15 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 18, please log in to the Zoom link provided after you register.  

3) As the ceremony gets underway, stay in the Zoom room with your camera on and your mic off and enjoy a live feed of remarks by your classmates and faculty. 

4) When your name is read during the ceremony, your video feed will be shown in the room for a few moments, as well as on the live stream, giving you a chance to smile and wave for friends and family as the school recognizes your accomplishment. 

Instructions to watch the live stream:

1) UVA's School of Continuing and Professional Studies Diploma Ceremony will stream live at scps.virginia.edu/finals-weekend-2025, beginning 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 18.

2) It follows the University's Lawn Ceremony, which will stream live at virginia.edu/live, beginning 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 18.
